People are funny sometimes (myself included) I would like to share a quick “incident” that just happened to me that may seem strange to you… Or maybe just me and I am over-reacting… if you can say that. Keep in mind this is by NO means the first time this has happened to me… and I can guarantee it wont be the last….*sigh* Sisi and I have a membership to the ONsen Spa and Resort inside of MontBleu casino. It has a full gym, steam room, sauna, hot tub, indoor heated pool, relaxation room…. THE WORKS! We have been going ALMOST every day for the past few months. Not bragging on my gym commitment.. which is now the norm (thank you Facebook), because if you see my pictures you can tell I CLEARLY just go for the steam room and hot tub Anywhooooo For whatever reason… Sisi and I ALWAYS make friends. People remember us everywhere we go. It is strange. And we always get recognized when we are out. I guess we just look really approachable. (or maybe if you believe in the law of attraction… we are people people and love intertacting.. so maybe we are drawn to them, or vice versa) 2nd anywhooooo….. One of the other regulars… we shall just call him Rudity, always finds me and comes and talks to me. On this occasion, as he sits next to me totally comfortable nude (I guess we are close like that) letting his delicates sway to and fro… He starts telling me about how the people at his work are touchy and a bit mean. Says since the snow season was so bad, everything is slow and hours are getting cut, etc. So everyone is on edge and being a bit mean lately. I say “I would fit right in. I am kind of a jerk too”. I say that because sometimes I have sort of a … “trash talking” kind of sense of humor. Anyone who has spoken with me before will know what I am talking about. I think it is tasteful… but of course I am my own biggest fan lol 3rd anywhoooo…. (and here is where it gets interesting) Rudity replies: “No, not at all! I like you. You are a really cool guy. You are the whitest black person I have ever met” o_0 To which I reply… “Thaaaank………………… you?????? Maybe?” And we laughed, his junk bounced a lil… and we moved on. Good times at the gym I tells ya. My question: Have you ever used or heard this phrase? And what exactly does it mean. Because the more I think about it… my mind goes to a crazy dark place and makes me want to say dumb things lol. So I choose to ignore the voices. So far this main voice has kept me out of trouble so I keep listening. What’s your take? Funny? Rude? Insulting? Meaningless? hmmmmmmm P. Who is dedicated enough to pull off this elaborate April Fools Day Prank? It will take some time and patience. Find a good natured friend or family member. At a random interval, say something like “wake up.” When they ask why you said it, promptly act like you didn’t say anything until they let it go. A few hours later, say something like “none of this is real” directly to their face then when they asked me about it, deny it again but this time act wierded out until they drop it. After a few hours have passed say something like to “you’re in a coma,” (see where Im going with this). Each time react the same (like nothing happened) and it shouldn’t take long before they start thinking they are losing their mind (which is the goal after all). If you are doing a great job of selling it… after about a day, they may decide to verify whether or not they are going insane and call another friend or family member to ask what he thought he should do. If you are really good, you will have already coached family and friends to say “you’re in a coma” to him when he called and asked for advice. You should have them doing elaborate things by now to try to wake themselves up. Well done. This is where you now sit back and watch the magic happen.

I’m starting to get really good at this lol Am I the only one who secretly gets a kick out of being the “black sheep” and pissing people off? USUALLY not on purpose. Just happens to be a by-product of me speaking my mind. I feel like itegrity is sometimes lost in this industry and it is all about how someone can make a quick buck. This biz is driven by the “buddy” system. You know, you scratch my back… Then I ow you my life, first born and you will guilt me into promoting your crappy rehashed PLR garbage product to my list”… Or something like that. Can’t remember the exact saying… but I think I am close. For some reason or another… I just could never “play the game”. So in turn, I don’t make a ton of friends with the “buddy” system. Probably for posts like this that I routinely make I speak my mind. And if something doesn’t jive, whether you are a friend or not… I feel it is my obligation to YOU and the friend, that I am always honest. So if you have a product or business that I don’t believe in ( or rather I think is crap), I am not going to share it with the people who trust me. SO this post I made last night has been getting some “colorful” responses. Not many are happy about it. And the funny thing is, I was going to quote one in this email, but as I just hit refresh, the nasty posts have been removed. You know it is bad when the mods just up and delete half of the conversations in the thread hahahaha. What do you think? It is that time again! This time not so dramatic…. yet. We wont be moving 3000 miles like we did just about 6 months ago from Wilmington, North Carolina to our current place in South Lake Tahoe California/Nevada. I have both because where we are, when we walk to get tacos at Maya’s, you are in California. If you cross the street, you are in Nevada. Kind of cool. But we have got the “itch” again (no worries. nothing we need shots for). We want to move again. We want to move to Vegas (yes, again (actually, we want to move to Hawaii, but they have crazy 4-6 month quaranteen laws to bring pets with you so we figured we would wait in vegas while we figure that out. But by the end of of 2015… we WILL be living in Hawaii. Wana know how? Keep reading)). So what better way to fund the move than to pass on a deal to you? Well… we actually don’t need the money for the move. Let me explain… If you have been following our journey, you might already know that in 2013 we traveled almost 6000 miles moving from New York, to California for the summer, then to North Carolina at the end of the year. Then we broke our unwritten rule of moving every 6-12 months (while we don’t have kids and are still young and adventurous) by staying in NC for almost all of 2014 so we could get married. I know… lame excuse to postpone moving again right? lol Well… in order to live this lifestyle, we have to travel light. We took Tim Ferriss’s advice in 4-hour workweek of “one bag” to heart! We are now down to the essentials. No “stuff” tying us down. When we move, we sell all of our furniture and get “new” (to us) stuff when we get to out new location. We just happened to get lucky enough to find a fully furnished place here in Lake Tahoe… So we literally purchased nothing this time. That’s right, we have our clothes and my laptop. And it gives us the freedom to pickup and move whenever we want. If we needed to, we could decide to move right now and be in vegas in time to catch a late show. Pile everything into the car and off we go. All we need is enough for gas. And it is only about a 6 hour drive from here. As long as there is wifi of course. That is all we need to survive by just doing exactly what I teach in Really Simple Launches. Which shows how to setup businesses that pay you whether you are there or not, from anywhere in the world, without any experience needed. Yes, people think my wife Sisi and I are crazy. Hell… WE think we are crazy! Some people would spend the earnings on a gigantic house. Or maybe what most people crave.. a new car. Fancy new plasma TV, jewelry, Clothes… or whatever else “normal” people buy these days. We like to spend our money on life experiences. Why save up all year for a one week vacation to an exoctic place… when you can just move there for usually less? After living in California most of my life, I realized that most of the places people DREAM and WISH they could live are actually cheaper than homes here. NOt kidding. Spend a little time googling homes for sale and rent in places that we are considering like; US Virgin Islands, Costa Rica, Cancun, Cabo San Lucas, Bahamas and yes, even Hawaii. Then compare that to something that is within even 5 miles of the ocean in San Diego. CRAZINESS! That is our thinking anyway. Neither is right or wrong. It is whatever makes the best life for you. Each of us has our own vision of what “paradise” means. As long as you are following it… then rock on! Video Vs. Written Content – A Heated Skype Debate – Where do you stand?

Earlier this morning I got a message about the way I deliver my content on skype. Which is usually video or audio these days. So this was in direct response to yesterday’s email that included another free training video on what to do immediately after you create a product so that it will sell for years to come and not the typical 3 weeks like most… You can find it here Funny thing… I actually got a few emails this week stating something similar. But the BIG question is… where do YOU stand? So as not to alter the conversation in any way, I will just quote it word for word and you can tell me what you think by replying. I can see now why you do audio, for the speed, but unfortunately I end up rarely listening to any of your recordings as I just don’t have the time available to do so. If they were concise recordings I would – or if they had a written overview about the content. The content of a 10 minute audio if written can be scanned within seconds to determine if it is relevant to oneself I tried to make sense of the auto-translate the other day, but it will be a while before they actually work I think I appreciate all you do and offer, just wanted to give feedback on this, as I may not be the only one finding the same . . . on the other hand, maybe I’m on my own here :O “ Reply from Art K:”Pat. Then I started getting similar messages saying they wish they had a video because they learn better visually. But know.. you are NOT the first person to tell me they never watch my videos or listen to my audios because they don’t have time. They want to just scan some text and move on. I get it. Everyone is busy and just wants the cliff notes. lol The thing is, this year I made a plan to product more content. At least 3+ times a week. So the time it takes me to outline talking points and create a 10 min audio = 15 mins max! The time it takes me to outline the exact same content, write it out, edit, organize, polish and publish… sometimes 3 hours. (a ten min audio is usually about 1300 words for me on average). So between the thousands of other things pulling at me each and every day, it is either an audio that conveys the exact same message 3 times a week, or something written once every 2 weeks. Either way… I never please everyone. But alas… I still try. I will work on mixing in more written content, or putting a summary of bullet points under the audio or video. The good news is, another thing on my to-do list is converting ALL my audios/video trainings into pdf’s or ebooks so that I can do just that.
